Tarrant County Kids provides safe, affordable, co-ed childcare service for kids ages 5-12 at ten schools in the Arlington ISD. We provide before and after school care during the school year and all-day childcare through our Summer Adventure Camp during the summer and most school holidays.

Each of our programs provides educational and fun enrichment activities offering youth the opportunity to have fun, challenging and educational experiences. Learning and fun go hand-in-hand and help give our parents "peace of mind" - knowing that their children are safe and having a good time.

During the program, children are served a nutritious snack, assisted with their homework and offered a wide variety of activities to choose from to make their afternoons enjoyable and educational. Children participate in challenging and educational activities including daily study time and tutoring, arts and crafts, sports and recreation, hands-on activities, substance abuse prevention education, and Girls Incorporated curriculum programs.

You can be assured your child will be provided with the best and most nurturing care available!

Our childcare programs are staffed with qualified, trained personnel who meet strict Tarrant County Kids standards. We hire staff through careful selection, and criminal history background checks are obtained on all employees of the agency. All child care staff are trained in CPR and First Aid and attend monthly training sessions. Site managers meet weekly to discuss pertinent topics that relate to the child care program. Staff attend workshops on topics such as positive discipline, arts and crafts projects, programming and field trip ideas. Staff-child ratios are 1:15. The Director of Tarrant County Kids conducts weekly site visits at each location, and monitors sites according to the Standards and Compliance Program.
