AFTERSCHOOL
CHILDCARE PROGRAM
Girls Inc. offers licensed, quality
afterschool childcare for girls and boys in grades K-6 at nine elementary
school locations in the Arlington Independent School District (AISD).
Each of our programs provides educational and fun enrichment activities
offering youth the opportunity to have fun, challenging and educational
experiences. Learning and fun go hand-in-hand and help give our
parents "peace of mind" - knowing that their children are safe and
having a good time.
During the program, children are
served a nutritious snack, assisted with their homework and offered
a wide variety of activities to choose from to make their afternoons
enjoyable and educational. Children participate in challenging and
educational activities including daily study time and tutoring,
arts and crafts, sports and recreation, hands-on activities, substance
abuse prevention education, and Girls Incorporated curriculum programs.
